| Abstract: | O presente trabalho teve como objetivo analisar a pouca procura pelo consultório odontológico Dr.Rubens Mortimer, em Capitão em Capitão Enéas, Minas Gerias, para realização da prevenção à cárie dentária no ano de 2010. Este PSF localiza-se na periferia do município e apresenta a maior procura por tratamentos e extrações dentárias. A cultura da população, a baixa renda e a pouca capacitação dos dentistas dificultam as ações de prevenção no consultório. Utilizaram-se, para coleta de dados, os prontuários odontológicos do ano de 2010, as fichas A do SIAB, fichas de produção mensal e cadastros da Unidade de Saúde. Os resultados foram expostos em forma de tabelas, com suas interpretações. Os dados foram analisados e comparados com o SB Brasil, 2003, objetivando confrontar as duas pesquisas para referência visual. Posteriormente foi realizada uma revisão de literatura para construir propostas que possibilitem capacitar os profissionais envolvidos na Estratégia Saúde da Família para desmistificar a grande busca por tratamentos interceptativos em detrimento dos tratamentos preventivos. |
| Abstract: | The present work has as objective analyze the little search for preventive care for dentistry in the Family Health Strategy unit of Dr.Rubens Mortimer, in Capitão Enéas, Minas Gerais, in the year of 2010. This unit of the Family Health Strategy is situated in the periphery of the city and presents the greatest search for treatments and dental extractions. The culture and the low income of the population, the little qualification of the dentists for preventive and promotive actions make the actions for prevention is a obstacle for preventive care for the population. Different sources were used to perform the search, including official documents. The results were displayed in tables, with its interpretations. Data was analyzed and compared with SB Brazil, 2003, objectifying to permit a visual reference. Later a literature revision was carried through to construct proposals to enable the involved professionals in the Family Health Strategy to demystify the great search for treatments in detriment of the preventive treatments. |
