| Abstract: | Nesta tese, pretendo trabalhar com a obra do escritor argentino Jorge Luis Borges, com o objetivo de explorar alguns dos recursos de que se utiliza para compor sua poética e que trouxeram novos elementos à literatura. Tentarei situá-lo no contexto da Argentina e no cenário das teorias literárias do século XX, pesquisando a maneira como trabalha com o tempo, um conceito que encontra ressonância em quase todas as áreas do conhecimento humano e que sua obra também privilegia. Dessa maneira, poderei cotejar sua proposição estética à linguagem de outras disciplinas, como a matemática, a filosofia e a psicanálise. Para tanto, buscarei explorar as referências a Zenon de Eléia e a maneira como Borges se utiliza de seus paradoxos como tema ou como arcabouço na construção de seu próprio texto. |
| Abstract: | In this thesis, I intend to work with the Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges's work. My aim is to explore some of the resourses that he uses when composing his pieces of literature. Resourses which have brought new elements to the literature. I have tried to locate him in the Argentina's contexte and also in the scenery of the literary theories of the 20- Century, searching for his way of dealing with time, once this is a concept that has found grounds in almost all the areas of the human knowlege and that his work also puts in evidence. In this way, I will be able to compare his esthetic proposition to the language of other subjects such as mathematics, philosophy and psycoanalysis. To reach that, 1 will be looking forward to exploring the references made to Zenon de Eléia and the way Borges uses his paradoxes as the theme or the structure for the making up process of his own text. |
