| Abstract: | A pesquisa tratou-se de uma revisão integrativa com uma metodologia previamente estabelecida, com critérios bem definidos de inclusão e exclusão para determinar a população e a amostra a ser incluída no estudo. Foram analisados artigos científicos sobre o aleitamento materno como fator contribuinte na prevenção do câncer de mama contidos nas bases eletrônicas Lilacs e Scielo, de acordo com o ano de estudo, compreendendo-se os períodos entre janeiro de 2005 a janeiro de 2010, publicados em língua portuguesa. Tem por objetivo identificar os benefícios da amamentação materna e sua contribuição para a prevenção do câncer de mama feminino. A pesquisa demonstrou a importância da ESF na promoção do aleitamento materno e os benefícios trazidos pelo mesmo. |
| Abstract: | The survey was treated with an integrative review of a previouslyestablished methodology, with well-defined criteria of inclusion and exclusion to determine the population and sample to be included in the study. We analyzed scientific articles on breastfeeding as a contributing factor in the prevention of breast cancer contained in electronic databases Lilacs and Scielo,according to the years of study, including the periods between January 2005 and January2010, published in the language Portuguese. Aims to identify the benefits of breastfeeding and its contribution to the prevention of female breast cancer. The research demonstrated theimportance of ESF in promoting breastfeeding and the benefits brought by it. |
