| Title: | A importância da estratégia de saúde da família para melhoria de cobertura do exame preventivo do câncer de colo de útero |

| Abstract: | Trata-se de um estudo com o objetivo de realizar uma revisão bibliográfica sobre estratégias dos serviços básicos de saúde para melhorar a cobertura de realização do exame preventivo do câncer de colo de útero. Foi realizada uma revisão narrativa da literatura a respeito dessas referidas estratégias utilizando alguns artigos científicos, manuais do Ministério da Saúde do Brasil, livros, dentre outros. Com a leitura desse material bibliográfico foi possível discutir os seguintes aspectos: mecanismos de gestão dos serviços de saúde para melhoria da cobertura do exame preventivo do câncer de colo de útero; o papel do profissional de enfermagem e de saúde na abordagem a mulher no contexto do referido exame e experiências exitosas relacionadas à realização do exame preventivo de câncer de colo uterino. Os resultados mostraram a importância da estratégia de saúde da família para a melhoria de cobertura desse exame. Para isso é imprescindível a valorização do contexto da mulher, da comunidade e o maior engajamento da equipe de saúde e da gestão dos serviços de saúde para o alcance de melhores resultados de cobertura do exame preventivo do câncer de colo de útero. |
| Abstract: | It is a study in order to perform a literature review on strategies of basic health services to improve the coverage of the test preventative cervical cancer. We performed a narrative review of the literature on these strategies using some of these papers, manuals of the Ministry of Health of Brazil, books, among others. With the reading of this bibliography was possible to discuss the following aspects: mechanisms of management of health services to improve the coverage of preventive examinations for cervical cancer, the role of professional nursing and health in addressing the woman in the context of this examination and successful experiences related to the implementation of screening of cervical cancer. The results showed the importance of family health strategy to improve coverage of the examination. It is essential to the appreciation of the context of women, and greater engagement of the community health team and the management of health services to achieve better results coverage of screening for cancer of the cervix. |
