| Title: | Exercício físico: uma proposta de tratamento a pacientes portadores de diabetes mellitus e hipertensão arterial |

| Abstract: | O objetivo do trabalho visa elaborar um programa de exercício físico como elemento essencial à saúde e ao tratamento dos pacientes portadores de Diabetes Melittus (DM) e Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica (HAS) cadastrados na Unidade Saúde Família - Vale do Amanhecer. Para isso, serão selecionados 30 (trinta) pacientes portadores de HAS e ou DM cadastrados na referida Unidade, sendo 15 (quinze) de cada sexo, com idade acima de 40 anos e tendo um nível de capacidade física suficiente para iniciarem as atividades propostas. O programa será ministrado por um Educador Físico e um por um Fisioterapeuta. Espera-se que essa estratégia, proporcione maior efetividade na promoção, prevenção, reabilitação, controle e manutenção da saúde dos pacientes HAS e DM. |
| Abstract: | This study aims to develop an exercise program as essential to health and treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) and Hypertension (HBP) enrolled in the Unidade Saúde Família - Vale do Amanhecer. To do this, will be selected (30) patients with hypertension and DM or registered in that unit, 15 (fifteen) of either sex, aged 40 years and having a level of physical ability sufficient to initiate the proposed activities. The program will be taught by a Physical Educator and one by a physiotherapist. It is hoped that this strategy provides greater effectiveness in the promotion, prevention, rehabilitation, health maintenance and control of hypertension and diabetes mellitus patients. |
