| Abstract: | O presente estudo aborda o tema relacionado às dificuldades apresentadas pelo cuidador do idoso em domicilio no processo de cuidar e a atuação do profissional de enfermagem. Justifica-se pelas dificuldades e despreparo na prática do cuidado vivenciado pelo cuidador do idoso, em domicilio. Esta situação pode acarretar em problemas físicos, psíquicos e sociais no seu dia a dia, refletindo negativamente no seu bem estar e na qualidade da assistência prestada. O objetivo deste estudo é descrever, as dificuldades vivenciadas pelo cuidador do idoso em domicílio frente à prática do cuidar e a atuação do profissional de enfermagem. Para o desenvolvimento deste estudo, optou-se pela pesquisa bibliográfica realizada nas bases de dados LILACS, BDENF, MEDLINE, nos períodos de janeiro a junho de 2011. O cuidador frente ao processo de cuidar se depara com as dificuldades do cotidiano, onde normalmente ele é o único responsável pelo ser cuidado, ocasionando desta forma um desgaste em sua saúde e bem estar, onde a prática de cuidar se torna árdua ao ponto de não ter tempo nem para realizar o seu auto cuidado. O profissional de enfermagem atua direcionando a sua assistência, onde o cuidador é visto como recurso de reabilitação, ficando normalmente desprovido de cuidados e atenção. Desta forma as dificuldades vivenciadas pelo cuidador tornam-se desgastantes, e quando não solucionadas ou amenizadas, pode levá-lo a pessoa a ser cuidada. Faz-se necessário que o profissional de enfermagem esteja inserido no contexto domiciliar minimizando as dificuldades apresentadas pelo cuidador, atuando como educador e na prevenção e promoção da saúde, proporcionando com qualidade o bem estar do cuidador do idoso e de toda a família. |
| Abstract: | This study discusses the theme related to the difficulties presented by the caregiver for the elderly at home in the process of care and the role of professional nursing. It is justified by the difficulties and not being prepared in the practice of care experienced by caregivers of the elderly in home. This situation can lead to physical problems, psychological and social in their day to day, reflecting adversely on their wellbeing and quality of assistance provided. The objective of this study is to describe, the difficulties experienced by the elderly caregiver home front to the practice of care and the role of professional nursing. For the development of this study, we opted for bibliographic search conducted in the databases MEDLINE, LILACS, BDENF, in the periods January to June 2011. The caregiver opposite the caregiving process is faced with the difficulties of daily life, where usually he is solely responsible for be careful, causing a tear in your health and well being, where the practice of care becomes difficult to the point of not having time nor to perform your auto care. The nursing professional acts by directing their assistance to be sick, where the caregiver is seen as a resource for rehabilitation, and usually devoid of care and attention. This way the difficulties experienced by caregivers become overwhelming, and when not resolved or mitigated somewhat, might lead you to the person being cared for. It is necessary that the Professional is inserted at the nursing home context by minimizing the difficulties presented by the caregiver, acting as an educator and prevention and health promotion, providing with quality caregiver well being and the whole family. |
