Violência no ambiente de trabalho: tipos e repercussões para a equipe de enfermagem

Abstract

This study aimed to seek to identify the types of violence suffered by professionals of nursing staffs and its implications described in scientific literature in the last ten years. We opted for the method of integrative review of the literature. To search for studies in databases "Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences (LILACS)", "database on nursing (BDENF)" and "Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO)" indexed to the Virtual Library in health VHL, Bireme DeCS were used "violence" and "health worker". The sample was composed of five studies that meet pre-established criteria for inclusion. For data collection of studies was prepared an instrument collection containing information regarding the objectives, results, conclusions and/or recommendations of the authors. All studies examined made mention of the nursing staff, as the main target of the violence at work in the area of health. Categories of violence have been identified related to the "physical environment", "staff and clientele" and "Organization of work" and the repercussions, such as stress, depression, psychosomatic disorders and low self-esteem. After analysis of the studies, it is essential to emphasize the need for researchers, government agencies and professionals, mainly from the area of health, to broaden the discussions on the theme "violence in spaces and working relations" and seek solutions to confront this situation.
