Abstract: | O trabalho em saúde se caracteriza por um atendimento integral a qualquer hora do dia, no qual é estabelecido o sistema de plantão ou em turnos. Sabe-se que o ciclo circadiano determina a estruturação dos horários de cada indivíduo, nos quais estão compreendidos os horários de despertar, de regulação térmica, hormonal, dos hábitos alimentares, da hora de dormir, etc. Entretanto, em determinados locais o mesmo ritmo de trabalho que é exigido no turno diurno, também o é no turno noturno, o que pode levar a alterações no mencionado ciclo. No trabalho em saúde este tipo de ritmo e exigência pode ser verificado no setor de Urgência e Emergência, no qual a equipe de enfermagem trabalha ininterruptamente. Os aspectos descritos podem sugerir diferentes efeitos no processo saúde/doença destes profissionais. Tendo em vista a problemática, o presente estudo tem por objetivos identificar os efeitos do trabalho em turno na saúde dos Enfermeiros do setor de Urgência e Emergência, e identificando o grau de conhecimento destes profissionais sobre os efeitos do trabalho em turno em sua saúde. Utilizou-se o método Análise Institucional para a compreensão qualitativa. Os resultados revelam a percepção dos enfermeiros sobre os efeitos do trabalho em sua saúde e a sua postura diante do modelo e organização do trabalho em que estão inseridos. Propõe-se uma aproximação entre o planejamento e a execução do trabalho, com o objetivo de favorecer o pensamento crítico, motivação, satisfação e segurança no trabalho, tornando-os menos alienados, para a efetiva transformação em sua atividade profissional e organização institucional do trabalho, minimizando os prejuízos à sua saúde. |
Abstract: | The health care work is characterized by its 24h assistance at any time of the day, which is based on the shift work or the on duty system. It is known that the circadian cycle determines the schedule template for each worker, in which are included the wake up, thermal, hormonal, eating and bed time regulation, among others. However, in some locations the same working rhythm is required both in day and night shifts, what may lead to alterations on the above mentioned cycle. At the health care work, this kind of rhythm and requirements may be verified at the Emergency and Urgency sector, in which the nursing team works non-stop. The aspects hereinbefore described may suggest different effects on health/illness process of each professionals. Having those problems in mind, the present work main objectives are to identify the effects of working in shifts in nurses health at the Emergency and Urgency sector; identifying the awareness of the professionals about the health effects of working in shifts. The Institutional Analysis for the qualitative understanding. The results reveal the perception of nurses on the effects of work on your health and your attitude towards the model and organization of work in which they live. It is suggested an approach between planning and execution of work, aiming to promote critical thinking, motivation, satisfaction and safety at work, making them less alienated, for effective transformation in their professional and institutional organization of work, minimizing the damage to his health. |
