Educação em saúde na estratégia saúde da família: revisão integrativa da literatura

Abstract

The present study deals with the integrative literature review, the synthesis methodthat provides the knowledge and the incorporation of the applicability of study results significant in practice. The objective was to reflect on health education in the Family Health Strategy. Was used for the selection of the articles online databases Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences (Lilacs), included in the Virtual Health Library (VHL). The study population was composed of eleven articles and the sample consisted of five articles. The literatureshows that education is developed in primary care are still focused on curing the disease and the medicalization of health. The authoritarian attitude of the professionals and prescribed often leads to depletion of stocks targeted for health education. Should be encouraged in the subjects / users with a critical eye on their health-disease process and thereby promote self-care. Moreover, listening, dialogue, respect the reality of the subjects are important prerequisites for promoting ties to the health service. Therefore, this review urges a rethink of the ways and means as it is being conducted health education in the ESF, which aims to change behavior in users. It is necessary to review concepts, break paradigms, building and rebuilding roads to improve the quality of work in primary health care, based on educational practices aimed at promoting health -one of the principles of finalistics Family Health Strategy.
