| Abstract: | Os indicadores de qualidade da assistência estão bastante comprometidos. Essa afirmativa pode ser confirmada por altas taxas de erros na administração de medicamentos pelos trabalhadores de enfermagem, mesmo após realização de processos formativos de educação permanente. Observa-se que há muitas escolas de técnico de enfermagem em Minas Gerais e um aumento do contingente de trabalhadores chegam anualmente ao mercado de trabalho. As escolas recebem alunos de diferentes culturas e essas diferenças devem ser conhecidas e consideradas no momento da revisão de um projeto político pedagógico e definição de estratégias e ações que facilitem o processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Este estudo tem o objetivo de identificar o perfil dos alunos do curso técnico de enfermagem de uma escola privada de Belo Horizonte/MG. Trata-se de pesquisa primária, descritiva e transversal, realizada com 49 alunos, no período de junho a dezembro de 2011. Os dados foram coletados juntos aos discentes da escola pesquisada, por meio de questionário, com questões fechadas e abertas, aplicado em um único dia, após esclarecimento e assinatura do Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido (TCLE). Os resultados foram submetidos à análise descritiva e as respostas das questões abertas foram categorizadas conforme as semelhanças encontradas. Constatou-se que 89,8% dos alunos eram do sexo feminino, com idade média entre 20 a 30 anos, em sua maioria solteira, sem filhos, que 47,0% são católicos e 42,9% evangélicos e os demais de religiões diversas, com renda familiar mensal de dois a três salários mínimos. Foram identificadas fragilidades na metodologia de ensino utilizada pelo curso, na formação do corpo docente e no compromisso da instituição com o ensino e a formação profissional dos discentes. Os alunos revelaram que não percebem haver uma política institucional em relação aos campos de estágios para recebê-los, que percebem a falta de compromisso do campo estagio com o ensino, na formação dos alunos. Estudos bem delineados ainda são necessários para traçar o perfil dos alunos das demais escolas de formação técnica em enfermagem de Minas Gerais. |
| Abstract: | The indicators of quality of care are very committed. This assertion can be confirmed by high error rates in medication administration by nursing staff, even after completion of the formative process of continuing education. It is observed that there are many schools of nursing technicians in Minas Gerais and an increase in the number of workers arrive annually to the labor market. Schools receive students from different cultures and these differences must be known and considered at the time of the review of a political and pedagogical strategies and actions that facilitate the teaching-learning process. Of this study aims to identify the profile of students of nursing technician at a private school in Belo Horizonte / MG. It is of primary research, descriptive and transversal held with 49 students in the period June-December 2011. Data were collected together for the school students surveyed through a questionnaire with closed and open questions applied in a single day, after receiving information and signing the informed consent and free (ICF). The results were submitted to descriptive analysis and the responses of the open questions were categorized according to similarities. It was found that 89.8% of students were female, mean age 20 to 30 years, mostly unmarried, without children, who are Catholic 47.0% and 42.9% of evangelicals and other religions diverse, with a monthly income of two to three minimum wages. We identified weaknesses in the teaching methodology used by the course, training faculty and the institution's commitment to education and training of students. Students do not realize there revealed that an institutional policy regarding field placements to receive them, they perceive a lack of commitment of the field internship with the education, training of students. Well-designed studies are still needed to define the profile of students from other schools of technical training in nursing of Minas Gerais. |
