Perfil dos alunos do curso semipresencial de técnico em enfermagem, na cidade de Alfenas

Abstract

This study outlines the profile of students of blended Technicians Nursing offered by the Federal University of Juiz de Fora-UFJF in the city of Polo Alfenas / MG. He aimed to better understand these students considering teaching methodology that uses new teaching mode, teaching blended. That research was carried out a quantitative approach and the data were collected through a questionnaire answered by 30 students and called "Profile of students in undergraduate nursing," prepared by coordination of Pedagogical Training Course in Professional Education Area Health - CEFPEPE: Nursing, UFMG. The data revealed that most students were female, professed the Catholic religion, were married, aged 31 to 40 years, with children and lived in their own home. All students had phones, but few had telephone and computers at home, and who had, most enjoyed the Internet. For other data, a few did not have TV and Fax and most newspapers did not sign and / or magazines. The results also indicate that they attended regular elementary and high school, fewer had graduate and many other non-university training. The average income was 2 to 3 minimum wages. The assessment of the knowledge acquired in the course was good, but pointed out that the stage was barely usable, considering as a major impediment to physical fatigue. The study found that students showed greater affinity for the stage at the clinic, although all had some experience in hospital. It was showed that more than half is currently active in primary care, some in areas other than health and that they sought to travel in order to learn another profession, namely, that of nurses.
