Medidas de prevenção para úlceras venosas

Abstract

Venous ulcers of the lower limbs are part of a group of chronic diseases, the incidence of which increases gradually throughout the world. Understanding the pathogenesis and pathophysiology, as well as all the problems resulting from venous ulcer becomes important not only to make appropriate treatment, but mainly for the implementation of preventive measures aimed at reducing the incidence and recurrence. This study had as objective to characterize the scientific publications related to prevention of venous ulcers and identify the preventive measures of venous ulcers. For the preparation of the same was made a survey of the scientific literature related to prevention of venous ulcers identified and preventive measures. Therefore it was held that an integrative review was to sample seven primary studies. The results showed that compression therapy is the prevention strategy most suitable. It was found that there should be an association with the use of lower limb lifting, cryotherapy and hydrotherapy, as well as to identify efficacy studies on the topic.
