Abstract

Breast cancer is a cancer that affects more women all over the world, prevention is an important act to reduce this statistic. Unfortunately affects not only the physical but also the psychological that most often can bring undesirable consequences. The present study aimed to organize all the information provided by qualitative studies analyzing psychosomatic factors that may interfere with the treatment of patients with breast cancer. Methodology: surveys were conducted in the following databases: LILACS, IBECS, MEDLINE, BDENF Collects and Sus. Was used to search the literature Desc. A metasynthesis was used as a methodology, and then we used the criteria of inclusion and exclusion to search for articles on the Virtual Health Library (VHL). Each study was read, and categories of each were interpreted and compared with the categories of all other studies. Results: At the end of 7 studies that met the objective of the study were selected from a total of 3899 publications. Nine topics were analyzed, containing various subjects selected the feelings of these patients, in order to answer the main question of the research is: the positive emotional state can benefit from the results of treatment of patients with a diagnosis of breast cancer '. Conclusion: It is important to note that the emotional state, positive thinking, optimism and confidence are highlighted among the selected articles, focusing on the issue that really influence the treatment of these patients with breast cancer, and thus benefit from the results of treatment.
