Implantação do arquivo digital no CEFOR-PB como parte da organização setorial

Abstract

In all the sectors of the productive activity there is the necessity of new approaches in confronting of new problems that come up. Our basic objective is to introduce the system of filing and storing documents digitally in a central storage location of the School Archive of the CEFOR-PB. In this way we hope to improve the flexibility, the quality, and the efficiency in the service of the requisition of data or information on behalf of teachers, pupils, educational staff, and / or researchers in general. Besides being a possible instrument of immediate handling of virtual data, electronic management is an excellent means to compile high volume information and the handling and processing of image and sound. Additionally, it can serve as instructional instrumentation just as it is a room for available knowledge to a specialized user (Graduate students and / or post-graduation, and researchers in general), and institutional vanguard element in the storage of data and exchange of inter-institutional information. Part of the human knowledge is compiled in printed material, some is available in museums, and more presently are set or guided by circumstances of advancement in the socalled virtual databases. Accordingly, the digital archive is a set of bits of information that forms a logical unity of design for a computer program that is stored in an appropriate support, exclusively for the electronic environment.
