Abstract

Analysis of the technical and tactical performance level of a professional football team from Minas Gerais in the Brazilian league 2011, first round of the series "A". The aim of this study was to observe the level of technical and tactical performance of a team in Brazilian soccer championship 2011. It was used in this work the study of 15 games of the first round on DVD that was subsequently analyzed by a program (Dartifish) suitable for game reviews. Altogether 10 variables were used that allowed to show a technical tactical profile of the studied team. They are: TRA; LAR; NVC; FAR; NCT; Npr, NJ, SO, FS and Result. For the statistical approach of the study we used the average, standard deviation and percentage. There was no comparative analysis performed in this study. The studied team had difficulties in preparing attacks (Threads Offensive) because the team aborted a little bite more than 80% of attacks. The team showed little efficiency in the offensive actions bounded to the goal corresponding to a total of 9% and 2% of these were completed in goal. The study showed that the attacks concluded in goal resulted in greater efficiency from 3 to 30 seconds of total execution time of the attack, which means the team moves quickly to exploit the success of the goal. It is suggested that in future studies be used new variables in order to enrich the techniques and tactics analysis to help to show a more detailed tactical technical profile.
