Autoavaliação do curso técnico em saúde bucal da ETSUS-SE

Abstract

Institutional assessment is a key tool for self-knowledge of the institution, that associated with the planning has the potential to contribute to the strategic management. The self-evaluationor internal evaluation is a process through which a course or institution analyzes internally what is important, what value and what reason and for whom it has appointed value. Thus, institutions identify faults and potential for the purpose of reviewing the daily practices. Theaim of this paper is to elaborate an intervention project aimed at self-evaluation of the technical course in oral health offered at technical school of SUS in Sergipe, which serve to be applied to all other courses taught at this institution. This is justified for it represents the first technical course with diploma certificate by the school, and the same presented, during its execution, several complications. Through the qualitative analysis of institutional documents related to the course and structured meetings with focus groups, this project aims, in addition to strengthening the course itself, serve as a basis in the implementation of others of the same institution, and sow the school community culture of self-evaluation as a tool for growth, as opposed to the idealized control instrument before.
