Title: | A dialética do Banquete como movimento erótico |

Abstract: | Esta monografia visa compreender o processo dialético de ascensão no Banquete de Platão enquanto movimento erótico. |
Abstract: | This work aims at understanding the erotic process of ascension in Plato´s Symposium as a dialectical movement. From the fundamental aporiai concerning love and its status as intermediary, the author seeks to explain how the search for beauty happens. Thus, the progression begins at the level of sensitive beings and goes up to intelligible beings, until the essence of beauty is reached; this access is essentially discursive, although this does not mean that the science of beauty coincides with or is strictly equivalent to its intelligible object, that is, beauty itself. |
