A promoção em saúde e as práticas de prevenção como instrumentos transformadores e impactantes na condição de saúde bucal de adultos e idosos, em Patrocínio - Minas Gerais

Abstract

This work is a study of the integrative literary review from scientific articles, surveyed in the electronic data bases, LILACS, MEDLINE and SciELO, found on the web site of the Virtual Health Library (BIREME), related to the promotion and prevention practices in oral health in adults and elderly people, in order to know them and the verify the improvement of the oral health of these individuals, by means of behavioral and cultural changes. Through this study an intervention plan, has being creased identifying strategies able enough to face the problem of the precarious oral health in adults and elderly people covering the area of ESF Santo Antônio in the city of Patrocínio - MG, aiming to reach and modify habits long ago rooted in this society thus, promoting a better quality of life through a healthy smile. This study was of real importance in the process of knowledge and maturation of the author, becoming a guideline of ideas and a research instrument in the formulation of strategies, once it opened the horizons of thought expanding the vision of the problem itself.
