| Abstract: | Nesta pesquisa, buscamos compreender as práticas educativas dos agentes culturais contratados para a realização de oficinas culturais, esportivas e de reforço escolar no contraturno de programas de Educação Integral. Esses agentes, muitas vezes, são jovens, moram nas regiões próximas às escolas onde atuam e trabalham temas quetradicionalmente não fazem parte dos currículos escolares. A pesquisa, de cunho qualitativo, acompanhou através de observações e entrevistas a prática de seis agentes culturais em duas escolas do Ensino Fundamental do Programa Escola Integrada da Prefeitura Municipal de Belo Horizonte. O estudo mostrou que os agentespesquisados passavam grande quantidade de tempo junto com os alunos, criando vínculos de proximidade e identificação. Para além do ensino do conteúdo das oficinas, esses educadores também oportunizavam uma diversidade de aprendizagens para seus alunos, trabalhando dimensões como a formação identitária, a socialização e o lazer. Por fim, durante a pesquisa foi possível observar o contextode atuação desses sujeitos, muitas vezes marcado por condições de trabalho precárias e isoladas da escola em que desenvolviam seu trabalho. |
| Abstract: | In this study, we sought to understand the educational practices of cultural agents hired to carry out cultural, sports and tutoring workshops in afterschool activities of municipal Integral Education programs. These agents often are young, live in regions close to the schools where they work and teach issues that traditionally are not part of school curricula. The research, qualitative nature, accompanied - through observations and interviews - the practice of six cultural agents in two schools of the School Integrated Programme of the Municipality of Belo Horizonte. The study showed that the agents surveyed spent lot of time with the students, creating proximity and identification ties. In addition to teaching the content of the workshops, these educators also offered a diversity of learning for their students, working dimensions such as identity formation, socializing and leisure. Finally, during the research it was possible to observe the context of activity of these individuals, often marked by poor and isolated working conditions in the school who developed their work.
