| Abstract: | O presente estudo aborda uma experiência com o artesanato fora do espaço escolar; mais especificamente em oficinas de artesanato desenvolvidas com adolescentes em uma igreja na região metropolitana de Belo Horizonte. Tendo-se como base algumas definições sobre arte e artesanato, suas semelhanças e diferenças; tentou-se pontuar situações em que o artesanato pode ser mediador nas relações; promovendo a ativação da memória afetiva, por meio do encontro com objetos artesanais que se conheceu no passado. O livro Meditações sobre um cavalinho de pau, da autoria de E. Gombrich, foi utilizado como articulador em todas as etapas dessa investigação. Essas meditações serviram como uma espinha dorsal conduzindo os debates tanto nas definições sobre arte e artesanato quanto nas reflexões sobre a representação e o afeto no artesanato, e, por fim nas discussões sobre as oficinas. |
| Abstract: | This study addresses a craft experience out of school; more specifically in workshops developed with teenagers in a church in Belo Horizonte metropolitan region. Taking as base some definitions of art and craft, it´s similarities and differences; the study tried to point situations where the craft can be a mediator in relations; promoting affective memory activation, through the meeting with handmade objects known in the past. The book Meditations on a hobby horse, written by E. Gombrich, was used as an articulator in all stages of this investigation. These meditations served as a backbone leading debates either in definitions of art and craft or in reflections about representation and the crafts affection; and, finally in discussions about the workshops. |
