Abordagem do risco cardiovascular aumentado na atenção primária a saúde

Abstract

The municipality of Contagem is located in the central region of Minas Gerais, and composes the great Belo Horizonte. A situational health diagnosis was made in the Parque Recreio community health team, in Contagem . Conditions that increase the cardiovascular risk are in the top list of priorities. Patients seen in the unit have the habit of only showing for the scheduled appointments whenever there is a decompensation of their comorbidities, such as hypertension and diabetes. The cardiovascular diseases are important causes of mortality and morbidity. They are very common in the clinical practice, being frequently present in the treatments of the community health units. The inadequate habits and lifestyle, as well as a poorly informed population were defined as the critical nods of this problem. An interventional plan was then proposed in order to enforce the control of conditions that increase the cardiovascular risk. This review was developed from articles available on data bases such as: SCIELO, LILACS, MEDLINE, secondary community health unit and virtual library of the ministry of health. A literature review was done from September to December 2013, with articles from the year 2001 and mostly in Portuguese. The operations of this plan are intended to modify habits and lifestyle to aggregate knowledge of the population in despite of their comorbidities. With this expected to have a better control of comorbidities that increase cardiovascular risk, so that people have a better quality of life.
