Competências dos profissionais de saúde na tutoria em educação à distância em Doença Falciforme

Abstract

Sickle cell disease in Brazil is considered a serious public health and adequate care can be crucial for the patient. For the training of health professionals, distance education is a viable strategy in the promotion of lifelong learning and the use of this resource effectively, there must be a schedule of all processes, beyond the description of the powers and duties of each of the actors involved. One of the main actors of this process is the tutor and the aim of this study was to identify the competencies that health professionals should develop as a tutor in Distance Education ( DE ) in sickle cell disease (SCD ) . As results had structuring courses in distance learning, student profile, actions to be taken by the tutor to improve the binding of the student in courses in distance education, teaching and learning and skills of tutors in distance education. We conclude that the professional must have or develop the skills necessary to pursue tutoring, and develop strategies for greater linkage of students and promotion of collective knowledge construction.
