| Abstract: | Esta revisão tem por objetivo estudar e revisar fatores de forte influência sobre a superovulação em ovelhas da raça Santa Inês, bem como verificar os efeitos exercidos pela suplementação com ácidos graxos polinsaturados e estresse pelo calor sobre a reprodução destes animais. Pode ser verificado que o estresse pelo calor proporciona forte impacto sobre a reprodução animal e que o uso de ácidos graxos na alimentação animal pode minimizar o efeito do estresse pelo calor sobre esta variável. Além disso, observou-se que ainda são encontrados resultados inconsistentes sobre os resultados do uso do protocolo de superovulação sobre ovelhas Santa Inês, sendo enumerados vários fatores envolvidos, tal como hormônio utilizado, momento da onda folicular no início ao protocolo, nutrição, clima, entre outros |
| Abstract: | This review aims to study and review factors of strong influence on superovulation in Santa Ines ewe, as well as to verify the effects exerted by the supplementation with polyunsaturated fatty acid and heat stress on the reproduction of these animals. It can be verified that the heat stress provides a strong impact on animal breeding and the use of fatty acids in animal feed can minimize the effect of heat stress on this variable. Moreover, it was observed that inconsistent results on the results of the use of superovulation protocol on Santa Ines ewe can still be found, being listed several factors involved, such as the hormone utilized, time of follicular wave at the beginning the protocol, nutrition, climate, among others |
