| Abstract: | O Estudo da Rede de Bibliotecas da Amazonia (Rebam) foi possibilitado pelo uso da analise institucional na sua vertente de metodo de analise documental (que possibilita visualizar as contradições sociais que povoam os processos organizacionais), aliado ao metodo estruturalista que ve as instituições como um todo organico e interrelacionado e não como partes estanques). A Rebam foi instalada na Amazonia Legal, em 1973, para dar suporte ao Sistema Nacional de Informações Cientificas e Tecnologicas (Snict). Tinha por objetivo a coleta, reunião e disseminação da documentação gerada na Reunião e sobre esta. Esta rede estava constituida por 12 (doze) instituições que atuavam na Amâzonia e era gerenciada pela Superintendencia de Desenvolvimento da Amazonia (Sudam), como órgão de Coordenação Geral e Operações. Entretanto, a Rebam não sobreviveu por muito tempo, nem se constituiu de fato em uma rede autonoma, principalmente em função de: falta de preparo e de maturidade do pessoal técnico; divergencias institucionais e pessoais; ausencia de comprometimento real das instituições e integrantes, e predominio institucional da Sudam |
| Abstract: | The study of the Amazônia Library Network (Rebam) has been fulfilled through the institutional analysis , as a method of documental analysis ( which provides condition to visualize the social contradictions in the organizational process ) , in conjunction with the structuralism (amethod which studies the interrelations of the organizational parts of a network) . Rebam was founded in 1973 in the " Amazônia Legal " inordertogive support to the Brazilian National System of Scientific and Technological Information (Snict ) . Its purpose was the storage and dissemination of information produced about Amazônia and by amazonian organizations . The network was constituted by 12 institution s , under the coordination of the Superintendência do Desenvolvimento da Amazônia (Sudam) .However Rebam did not survive for a long time and the main reasons were : the lack of maturity and technical preparation of its librarians: institutional and personal disagreement on both technical and political matters ; lack of financial commitment from member organizations ; and institutional preponderance of Suda mover the network . |
