| Abstract: | Apresentamos, neste trabalho, uma análise de textos produzidos por alunos do ensino médio da E.E. Professor Neidson Rodrigues, localizada na periferia de Belo Horizonte MG, com o objetivo de verificar como eles constroem imagens da leitura e da escrita através do discurso. A pesquisa e a análise realizadas fundamentaram-se na Semiótica Greimasiana e na relação entre linguagem e Ideologia, tal como foi discutida por José Luiz Fiorin. Concluímos que as imagens da leitura e da escrita apresentadas nos textos dos alunos e complementadas por questionários de sondagem a que eles também responderam reproduzem, em linhas gerais, o discurso dominante sobre leitura e escrita que circula em nossa sociedade, desconsiderando as relações sociais mais profundas que estão na base do trabalho com essas habilidades. |
| Abstract: | In this paper, we present the analysis of texts written by high school students from Professor Neidson Rodrigues School, located in the suburbs of Belo Horizonte MG. Our main objective was to find out the images of reading and writing such students build in their discourse. Both the research and the analysis were based on Greimas Semiotics and in the relationship between language and ideology, discussed by José Luiz Fiorin. We concluded that the images of reading and writing presented in the students texts and complemented by the questionnaries they answered reproduce, in general, the dominant discourse in our society, disregarding deeper social relations that are in the very basis of work involving such abilities. |
