| Abstract: | O acompanhamento do crescimento e desenvolvimento infantil é ferramenta fundamental para a manutenção da saúde da criança dentro da Estratégia Saúde da Família. O papel do enfermeiro na atenção à saúde da criança é muito relevante e deveria estar inserida nas atividades de rotina do atendimento. Entretanto, por vários motivos, esta atuação é fragmentada, favorecendo a manutenção do modelo tradicional de atenção à saúde. Este estudo teve como objetivo revisar a literatura sobre o tema puericultura destacando o enfermeiro no acompanhamento do crescimento e desenvolvimento infantil e compreender a importância da puericultura para a organização do serviço de saúde. Foram consultados artigos científicos brasileiros publicados no período de 1984 a 2010. Considera-se que é preciso transpor inúmeros desafios, inclusive culturais, para que a puericultura seja mais valorizada e possa contribuir de modo efetivo na manutenção da saúde da criança e na prevenção de doenças e outros agravos. Neste sentido este estudo elenca recomendações que poderão contribuir para melhorar a atuação do enfermeiro e da equipe de saúde nesta ação. |
| Abstract: | The monitoring of growth and development of infants is a fundamental tool in order to maintain the child health inside the Family HealthCare Strategy. The nurse paper in caring for the child health is very relevant and should be inserted in the routine activities of attendance. However, due to many reasons, this actuation is fragmented, favoring the maintenance of the traditional model of healthcare attention. The main objective of this work was to revise the literature about the infants development and to comprehend the importance of mother-craft in order to organize the healthcare services. Were consulted Brazilian scientific articles that were published through 1984 to 2010. Is considered that is needed to overpass lots of challenges, including cultural challenges, so the mother-craft would be more valued and could contribute in an effective way in the maintenance of childrens healthcare and in preventing diseases and other injuries. In this sense, this work shows recommendations that could contribute to improve the nurse and the healthcare team in this action. |
