| Abstract: | A odontologia vive um processo de transição onde ocorre a reorganização do modelo de assistência à saúde bucal adequando-o aos princípios do Sistema Único de Saúde por meio da Estratégia de Saúde da Família. Os profissionais passam a dimensionar a sua atuação deixando de atuar de forma exclusivamente tecnicista e curativa, passando a exercer um trabalho em equipe, enxergando o paciente de antes como um individuo, percebido no seu contexto social, comunitário, familiar e a ele aliado seus problemas, suas crenças, seus valores. Toda esta rede de fatores substanciando e interagindo na sua saúde ou doença. As mudanças no trabalho do cirurgião-dentista pedem mais proximidade com o usuário, vínculo, acolhimento, promovendo saúde de uma forma que ocasione mudanças e autonomia do usuário em relação à sua saúde bucal. |
| Abstract: | Dentistry is undergoing a process of transition where the reorganization occurs via the SUS program's strategy of family health. Moreover professionals still form, prepare for work more technical and curative, with great difficulty of working in a team entered in a community. The individual in the new approach should be perceived in its social, community, family and ally him their problems, their beliefs, values and substantiating it all interacting in their health or illness. Changes in the work of the dentist ask for more closeness the user, link, hosting, promoting health in a way that causes changes and user autonomy. |
