Abstract: | This study addresses the issue of human health and how it seeks to health services. The literature used for this work explains emphatically, the lack of care that men have with their health. Thus what we see is that there really is a natural by men in exposing their problems, even if they are health professionals who are able to provide the necessary service. However, with the creation of the Health Strategy Family the family became the focus of public policy. From this, there is now recognition that the male population needs mechanisms to strengthen primary care and skill to access the health system so that health care is not limited to recovery, ensuring, above all, health promotion and prevention of preventable diseases. Thus, from data collected in a family health program in the municipality of Oliveira - MG was possible to prove what was seen and studied in the literature. Just as the individual has the right to information the public has a duty to inform. The actions of health education should contribute decisively to transform the duty of the state (in relation to the provisions of the Constitution) in a state of duty, which is a function of all individuals, institutions, communities and governments. |
