Adoção de medidas preventivas para a biossegurança dos trabalhadores do Centro de Material e Esterilização

Abstract

The proposal "Intervention Strategy" concists in proposin alternative actions in the pursuit of problems resolution. This study aimed to propose a project of prevention and heatlh promotio for health workes crowded in the Central Supply and Sterilization (CSS) of Hospital das Clínicas UFMG regarding the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Preventive measures were proposed such as listening to professionals knowledge and factors hindering about the use of PPE, the election of professionals who will participate the testing of new equipment purchased by the sector, negotiations between workes and managers regarding working conditions, the use of PPE, and lectures with occupational health professionals such as: physicians, nurses and technical security. Those professionals will contribuite with their knowledge and clarification of doubts of the workersdos of CSS. This proposal of intervention aims to improve the workers lore, promote awareness and incriase the adhesion of PPE use as measures of prevanting risks and damages to health.
