O ensino de Artes Visuais no Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil Vereador Daniel Borges

Abstract

This paper develops an interdisciplinary research between Pedagogy and the Visual Arts, emphasizing the teaching of Visual Arts in Early Childhood Education. This is a literature review on the subject and a field survey, those performed interviews with educators, participant observation where there is the approach of the researcher to the social group under study. In this type of research objectivity in data collection is assured because it was held with the participation of its members as protagonists. The observed data were recorded in the minutes, through pictures and / or footage, interviews and document analysis, qualitative, during the months from August to September 2013 at the Municipal Center for Early Education Councilman Daniel Borges - Core Ana Neri. The research was developed in an attempt to discover how the lessons of Visual Arts, where theory and practice are more linked, they become more enjoyable and entertaining for children. The date were analyzed according to the theories of contemporary authors of Visual Arts, Education and legislation and curriculum directions for teaching art in the state of Minas Gerais. From the comparison with date collected in the field, it was found that the pragmatic model, this research was replaced by another in which the student, all the time, led to challenges - Respecting, however, their peculiarities, their age and their level of development. The triangular approach (see, do and contextualize), proposed by Ana Mae Barbosa, was essential here. The dialogue promoted assess the child with his own production and that of others. The child autonomy afforded to the production of their works. And the context favored the knowledge of Art history, the object studied. Highlights the need for continued investment in teacher training.
