There is a common sense belief that one only learns a foreign language when he moves to a country where that target language is spoken. Some people agree. Some people do not. I have never had the chance to go abroad and, speaking from experience, this factor was never a boundary for my accomplishment. When I made the decision of doing this specialization course I also had some unanswered questions in my mind. Why do many people decide to learn a foreign language but only few remain faithful to this purpose? What are the causes which affect the rate of success of learners?pt_BR
