Prevenção da gravidez na adolescência na Unidade Básica de Saúde Novo Cruzeiro no Município de Manga Minas Gerais

Abstract

Adolescence, age group between 10 and 19 years, according to the World Health Organization it is a time of discovery which is characterized by profound and farreaching changes in the physical and psychological aspects, with individual, family and social repercussions to teen pregnancy brings with it a high risk of maternal and child morbidity and mortality and is a possible event restructuring the lives of teenagers. Complications during pregnancy and childbirth have been the leading cause of death for teenagers between 15 and 19 years in various countries around the world. The aim of this work was to elaborate a project of intervention with the purpose to reduce teenage pregnancy in the municipality of Mango, in the area of the Health Center Novo Cruzeiro, in order to characterize the causes of teen pregnancy, identify projects relevant to the topic and submit proposals that help in reducing teenage pregnancy. We used the Strategic Planning method pointing out the social repercussions of motherhood in adolescence such as truancy, early work and family disorganization. In the face of this reality, the theoretical and the willingness to intensify health actions aimed at young people and adolescents in social vulnerability situation, aims to outline strategies in partnerships for the confrontation of the problem. The results of the work have confirmed the need for an affective relationship and dialogical between parents, guardians and children and the importance of planning the family health Team to work consistently with the teenagers of the area covered
