Projeto de intervenção em Hipertensão Arterial na área de abrangência DAUBS Padre Liberio do município de Pará de Minas/MG

Abstract

The Hypertension is a multifactorial clinical condition characterized by elevated blood pressure, often associated with changes in target organs and thus, the increased risk of cardiovascular events.Population surveys in Brazilian cities showed prevalence of hypertension in subjects 18 to 59 years of age, between 20 and 30%, a percentage that reaches 50% of those aged 60-69 years and 75% in individuals over the age of 70 years (MENDES, 2011).In Minas Gerais, the SES / MG estimated prevalence of hypertension in the order of 20% in the population aged over 20 years.The cases of hypertension in assisted by UBS community "Father Liberius" also have concern.The community maintains unhealthy lifestyle, increased consumption of salt in the diet, excessive alcohol intake and smoking exacerbated, high calorie diet and sedentary lifestyle.This study aims to develop an action plan identifying the determinants of the increase in hypertensive residents in the catchment area in order to reduce cases of hypertension and associated risks.Given the method of Situational Strategic Planning, elaborated an intervention project from three steps: the situation analysis in health, literature review and the preparation of the operational plan.This work will contribute to the health team realize what are the main predisposing factors (modifiable and non-modifiable) of increased hypertension in the community to make interventions through the action plan.It is expected that this project will enable the reduction of morbidity and mortality related to hypertensive patients of Basic Health Unit, as well as improved quality of life thereof.
