| Abstract: | O número de adolescentes envolvidos com a criminalidade é bem alarmante no Brasil. E é crescente a inserção desses sujeitos no cumprimento da medida socioeducativa, como é denominada a aplicação da sanção ao adolescente que comete ato infracional. A lei que regula o cumprimento das medidas socioeducativas é a 8.069/1990, Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente ECA. A referida legislação é uma das mais avançadas da América Latina no quese refere à garantia e à proteção dos direitos da criança e do adolescente, sendo fruto de um forte movimento social de luta por tais direitos ocorrido no Brasil na década de 1980. Esse estudo pretende focar nas relações que os jovens estabelecem com a escola em espaço de privação de liberdade, uma vez que, de acordo com o ECA, a partir do momento em que o adolescente é acolhido na internação, a frequência escolar é obrigatória e a oferta da escolarização nesse espaço um dever do poder público. O intuito dessa investigação é tentar compreender e analisar os olhares dos adolescentes em conflito com a lei para a escola, como significam a escola no momento do cumprimento da medida de internação, quais sentimentos a escola nesse espaço desperta nesses jovens. A partir de (re) leituras de autores que tratam da violência, da juventude, da privação de liberdade e da escolarização/juventude e de breves dados referentes ao perfil e à escolaridade dos adolescentes internados em um centrosocioeducativo localizado na periferia da cidade de Belo Horizonte, procuramos compreender algumas questões: como os jovens significam a escola a que são submetidos na privação deliberdade? Quais são seus olhares perante a escolarização? Qual a presença e qual a função que essa escola exerce na vida desses sujeitos? Para a realização dessa investigação, as estratégias metodológicas utilizadas foram observação no campo e entrevistas semiestruturadas. O estudo não tem a intenção de esgotar o tema proposto e sim trazer novos elementos e discussões para a compreensão de como a educação escolar é sentida e significada pelos adolescentes em um espaço tão peculiar: o da privação da liberdade. |
| Abstract: | The number of adolescents involved in crime is alarming in Brazil. And it is increasing the inclusion of these subjects in the fulfillment of socio-educative measure, as it is called the application of sanctions to teen who commits an infraction. The law governing the implementation of educational measures is 8.069/1990, the Child and Adolescent ACE. This legislation is one of the most advanced in Latin America with regard to ensuring and protecting the rights of children and adolescents, being the result of a strong social movement to fight for these rights occurred in Brazil in the 80s. This study intends to focus on the relationships that youth establish with the school in place of deprivation of freedom, since,according to the ECA, from the time that the teenager is taken in the hospital school attendance is compulsory and the provision of schooling in place a duty of public authority. The aim is to try to understand and analyze the perspectives of adolescents in conflict with the law for the school as the school mean at the time of the completion of the detention, which the school feelings awakened in this space these young people. From (re) readings of authors that deal with violence, youth, deprivation of liberty and the school / youth and brief information about the profile and the education of adolescents admitted to a childcare center located on the outskirts of Belo Horizonte, we tried to research, understand some questions: how the young school mean they are subjected to the deprivation of liberty? What are their eyes before the school? What is the present and what role this school plays in the lives of these individuals?To carry out this research the methodological strategies used were field observation and semistructured interviews. The study does not intend to exhaust the subject proposed, but bring new elements and discussions to understand how schooling is perceived by adolescents and signified in a space so unique: the deprivation of liberty. |
