| Title: | Matemática na creche?: uma reflexão sobre as práticas pedagógicas em um centro municipal de educação infantil em contagem |

| Abstract: | O propósito deste estudo é analisar o potencial de mudança na prática de professoras que atuam na Educação Infantil, quando participam de uma proposta de videoformação continuada, na perspectiva de uma pesquisa colaborativa compartilhada. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em um Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil no município de Contagem, pertencente à Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte, no estado de Minas Gerais, Brasil. Com o propósito de alcançar o objetivo do estudo, adotamos os seguintes instrumentos de obtenção dos dados: entrevista semiestruturada, busca de informações no Projeto Político-Pedagógico e na ficha funcional das profissionais, observação participante, gravação em vídeo das práticas e rotina das crianças e a videoformação. A pesquisa fundamenta-se nos princípios teóricos de Lev Vygotsky (1984), Jean Lave e Etienne Wenger (1991) e de autoras que abordam a formação reflexiva e colaborativa de professores: Ibiapina (2007); Oliveira-Formosinho (2002); Pimenta, (1996). A experiência vivida com o desenvolvimento deste trabalho de pesquisa nos permitiu concluir que a pesquisa colaborativa compartilhada possibilitou a integração entre a universidade e a escola; fez emergir processos formativos em que a reflexibilidade e a tomada de consciência da práxis encorajou as participantes a buscarem novos olhares sobre seu fazer profissional; possibilitou uma maior participação e engajamento das crianças nas propostas de trabalho; possibilitou a construção de um roteiro metodológico de formação docente que dispara um processo inicial de reflexão sobre a prática; e, finalmente, trouxe apontamentos sobre a construção da linguagem matemática como possível ferramenta de apreensão do mundo pela criança pequena. |
| Abstract: | The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of change in the practice of teachers who work in Early Childhood Education, when they participated in a proposal of continuous video formation, in the perspective of a collaborative research. The research was conduct in an Early Childhood Education Center in the municipality of Contagem, belonging to the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. This study was developed through a qualitative methodological approach, in the perspective of a collaborative research. In order to achieve the objective of the study, we adopted the collaborative research and the following tools to collect data: semi-structured interview, data collection in the Political Pedagogical Project and in the functional data sheet of the professionals, participant observation, video recording of the practices and the children's routine and video-training. The research is based on the theoretical principles of Lev Vygotsky (1984), Jean Lave and Etienne Wenger (1991) and on authors that approach the reflective and collaborative teacher´s professional development (Ibiapina, 2007; Oliveira-Formosinho, 2002; Pimenta, 1996). The experience with the development of this research allowed us to conclude that the collaborative research integrated the university and the school; gave rise to formative processes in which reflexivity and awareness of praxis encouraged the participants to seek new perspectives on their professional work; made possible the greater participation and engagement of children in the work proposals; made possible the construction of a methodological teacher training script that triggers an initial process of reflection on the practice aimed at professionals with little training to work with young children; and finally the research brought notes about the construction of mathematical language as a possible tool for apprehending the world by the young child. |
