Os usos das tecnologias móveis nas salas de aula da educação de jovens e adultos

Abstract

This research was carried out with Young and Adults Education (YAE) teachers and students, in a municipal public school, a federal public school and two private schools, all in Belo Horizonte. The main objective was to learn about the use of mobile technologies by YAE teachers and students, from the school, to understand how they appropriate these technologies and how they use them in their daily lives in research, learning, communication and socialization situations. Thus, a small questionnaire was used and documentary researches, field observations and interviews were conducted to try to know if the uses of these technologies are related to the educational process of the students who are in the YAE schools and to the developed pedagogical work. It was hypothesized that the use of these technologies can help in the education of YAE students, both those who frequent classes and those who cannot frequent school because of their life and work rhythms. In the end, it is intended that the thesis confirm whether mobile technologies are used as learning resources in YAE schools and whether they bring students closer to school. A literature review was made about YAE and technologies in general, to assist in the researched data analysis and in the understanding of these themes. For that, we tried to establish a dialogue with the contributions of Adam Schaff, André Lemos and Pierre Lévy, Arthur Clarke, Leôncio Soares, Manuel Castells, Nelson Pretto, Paulo Freire, Uwe Flick and Zygmunt Bauman, among others authors.
