Práticas educativas e sociabilidades: mulheres forras em São João Del-Rei e São João Del-Rei(1808-1840)

Abstract

This work has as a theme a analysis skill to educate no scholars developed from the statement established between the ex-slaves and yours women descendant from the elite on the spaces of sociability of the movemented villages of São João Del Rei and São José Del Rei between the years of 1808 and 1840. It try to demonstrate that the process of teaching do not resume only on the ambient of nature scholar, it can occur on the moist varied spaces of sociability, from the observation or for example that, in consequence allows a appropriation of different merit, behavior and purpose. This process has as a specifics culture expressions of the analyzed women´s, provoked a crossbreeding culture, in which representation from the world were appropriated and re-elaborated in some aspect. The study privileged a crossbreeding occured on the on the attitude and accessories of the ex- slaves descendants. It get to realize a analysis and comparison of the will and inventories of the ex-slaves and descendants and of the elite women ´s to understand what had in common between yours accessories, in special the clothes and jewels, but also in relations at the testamentary executor decision. The interest is to try to demonstrate that a resemblance of objects and legates testementaries (wills) probably would be the result of a process of circulation of knowing or possible a mixture of cultures and representations from different world. At he same time, specification in the relations of the ex-slaves and yours descendants, a similarity of yours well and legates if compared of the elite women´s it could signify a ostentation and demonstration of a position of different ways of statement more hulmide, but at the same time, a conquest of status and power.
