| Abstract: | Esta pesquisa foi realizada tendo em vista a singularidade e a importância do trabalho desenvolvido pelo Maestro Carlos Alberto Pinto Fonseca ao longo de sua trajetória como regente titular do Ars Nova - Coral da UFMG. Com o objetivo de contribuir para o resgate da memória artístico-cultural do Brasil e de preencher muitas lacunas no universo da técnica na área de Regência Coral, desenvolveu-se a coleta e a sistematização dos recursos que constituem o ferramental técnico de ensaio coral do Maestro (perfil psicológico do regente, preparação do grupo, montagem de repertório e artifícios técnicos), além de uma discussão acerca de sua trajetória (aperfeiçoamento musical e condução do Ars Nova) e das fontes originárias de seu ferramental (especialmente a escola de Robert Shaw). |
| Abstract: | This research was conducted in view of the uniqueness and importance of Maestro Carlos Alberto Pinto Fonsecas work throughout his career as titular conductor of Ars Nova - Coral da UFMG. In order to contribute to the rescue of Brazils artistic and cultural memory and to fill many gaps in the technique universe in the area of Choral Conducting, the resources that constitute the Maestros rehearsal technical tools (conductors psychological profile, preparing the group, repertoire settings and technical artistry) were collected and systematized, and his historical trajectory (his musical improvement and Ars Nova direction) and the original sources of that tools (especially the school of Robert Shaw) were discussed. |
