dc.description.abstract	The present research intends to investigate the creation of a scenic process in which there is the attempt to establish a dialog between the conceptions systematized by Bertolt Brecht and the dramatic work of Thornton Wilder. Based on that premise the mise en scène of the play Our Town was confronted theoretically and in practice with some aspects of the framework proposed by Brecht specially about the counterpoint between the dramatical form and the epic form of Wilder. Therefore some analogies and differences were observed between the dramatic and scenic propositions of those two pradigmatic playwrights of the epic theater.	pt_BR
dc.description.resumo	A presente pesquisa sustenta-se na investigação de um processo de criação cênica que procurou estabelecer um diálogo entre os conceitos sistematizados por Bertolt Brecht e a produção dramatúrgica de Thornton Wilder. Baseado nesta premissa, confrontaram-se, teoricamente e na prática, na encenação da peça Nossa Cidade, alguns pontos do arcabouço teórico proposto por Brecht para o seu teatro épico, principalmente aqueles presentes no Esquema que contrapõe a forma dramática à forma épica do teatro, com o teatro épico de Wilder. Desta forma, observaram-se aproximações e distanciamentos entre aspropostas dramatúrgicas e cênicas de dois autores paradigmáticos do teatro épico.	pt_BR
