| Abstract: | O objetivo desta dissertação é discutir as articulações da presença e do convívio como elementos da dramaturgia num contexto em que ganham relevo na cena teatral contemporânea pela valorização das especificidades ontológicas do teatro como estratégia para encontrar o lugar e o potencial político desta arte no mundo contemporâneo. A partir de uma revisão dos conceitos de presença, convívio e dramaturgia, adere-se à perspectiva que concebe dramaturgia como a articulação não apenas dos sentidos, mas também dos diversos efeitos produzidos e implicados na estruturação de uma obra; considerando a produção de presença como um componente determinante no pensamento dramatúrgico de uma vertente do teatro brasileiro contemporâneo. Tal perspectiva adotada se alinha às investigações de Gumbrecht (2011) sobre a produção de presença; Dubatti (2007), sobre o convívio; e Turner e Behrndt, (2008) sobre a dramaturgia como processo de conexão, montagem e estruturação de elementos e efeitos de composição em uma obra. As ideias de Gumbrecht sobre o que o sentido não consegue expressar são congruentes com um pensamento forjado por Richard Schechner (2003) e Diana Taylor (2003) sobre a performance como campo de estudo separado do campo discursivo. Sob a luz da investigação desenvolvida pela pesquisadora alemã Erika Fischer-Lichte (2012), que classifica a presença em conceitos fraco, forte e radical, e relaciona este último à emergência da mente corporificada, a presente pesquisa se detém sobre a obra da Companhia Brasileira de Teatro, propondo uma análise de seus espetáculos, sobretudo Vida, que compreenda a dimensão da presença e do convívio como estruturantes da dramaturgia. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this dissertation is to discuss the articulations of presence and conviviality as elements of dramaturgy considering a context in which they gain prominence in the contemporary theater scene by exploiting the ontological specificity of theatre as strategies to find its place and political potential in the contemporary world. Based on a review of the concepts of presence, conviviality and dramaturgy, this dissertation conceives dramaturgy not only as the articulation of senses but as much as the articulation of various effects produced and involved in the structure of a work and, therefore, the production of presence as a crucial component in dramaturgical thinking of a strand of contemporary Brazilian theatre. This perspective adopted aligns with Gumbrechts (2011) investigations on the production of presence; Dubattis (2007) investigations about conviviality, and Turner and Behrndts (2008) investigations on the dramaturgy as process that implies connection, assembling and structuring elements and effects to compose a work. Gumbrechts ideas about what meaning cannot convey are congruent with Richard Schechners (2003) and Diana Taylors (2003) defense of performance as a knowledge separated from the discursive field. Under the light of the research developed by Erika Fischer-Lichte (2012), which classifies presence in a weak, a strong and a radical concepts and relate them to the emergence of the embodied mind, this research dwells upon the work of the Companhia Brasileira de Teatro, proposing an analysis of their performances, especially Vida, by taking the dimension of presence and conviviality as structural dramaturgy. |
