| Abstract: | A presente tese é constituída pelo estudo do Evangelho de Lucas do manuscrito grego (acervo da Biblioteca Nacional do Rio de Janeiro), recenseado sob o número 2437. A primeira parte diz respeito aos estudos sobre a tradição textual a que pertence o documento. Trata-se, de um ponto de vista mais geral, da história do Novo Testamento grego e de sua transmissão textual, bem como dos grupos de testemunhos, levando em conta quatorze séculos de tradição manuscrita; faz-se breve histórico sobre os estudos de tipologia textual e da fundamentaçãoque define ou norteia a teoria dos textos locais; e, em seguida, abordam-se os momentos mais importantes da sua tradição impressa. A segunda parte diz respeito aos aspectos materiais. Estuda-se o objeto constituído pelo próprio códice, uma primeira classificação do manuscrito 2437, quanto aos seus aspectos codicológicos e paleográficos, no quadro dos manuscritos do Novo Testamento grego, por meio de sua descrição codicológica e do estudo dos hábitos gráficos do copista principal, levantando a hipótese de uma provável datação dos séculos XII ou XIII, diferente do que tem sido datado, pela análise das suas características. E, finalmente, é apresentada a edição paleográfica do Evangelho de Lucas, acompanhada de um glossário do seu vocabulário. |
| Abstract: | The present dissertation is constituted by a study on the Gospel of Luke from the Greek manuscript (an asset from the Biblioteca Nacional do Rio de Janeiro) catalogued under number 2437. The first part is focused on the textual tradition to which the document belongs.Generically speaking, it is about the history of the Greek version of the New Testament and its textual transmission, as well as the collections of testimonies, considering fourteen centuries of manuscripts. A brief historical overview on textual typology and the criteria todefine local texts is offered, followed by a description of the most important moments of its printed tradition. The focus of the second part is on material aspects. The research object constituted by the codex itself is studied, and a primary classification for manuscript 2437 isdone, regarding its codicological and paleographic aspects, in the realm of Greek New Testament manuscripts. Through a description of the code and a study on the style of the main scribe, it is possible to infer its approximate date of the twelfth or thirteenth centuries, unlikewhat has been dated, due to its characteristics. Finally, the paleographic edition of the Gospel of Luke is presented, followed by a glossary for the document. |
