| Title: | Gênero e militância: a gestão das distâncias e a disputa por sentidos no discurso da Marcha das Vadias |

| Abstract: | Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar o discurso de militancia feminista do movimento Marcha das Vadias, no que diz respeito a argumentacao, enquanto resultante de efeitos de sentido, e aos efeitos possiveis desta, sobretudo no simbolico. Em outras palavras, nossoobjetivo e analisar como a Marcha busca disputar sentidos com o discurso patriarcal em relacao a representacoes, saberes e crencas naturalizadas por este, que sao na pratica violencias simbolicas contra mulheres. Assim, interessa-nos observar os efeitos de sentido que surgem diante dos auditorios e como estes efeitos podem atuar na alteracao desta doxa dominante. Para isso, aliamos aos estudos contemporaneos da retorica do consenso, de Perelman e Olbrechts-Tyteca, os novos trabalhos da retorica, que consideram o dissenso e/ou a polemica, de Meyer, Angenot e Amossy, e tambem as contribuicoes de Pecheux. Alem disso, contamos com as reflexoes de Bourdieu em relacao a violencia simbolica e a dominacao masculina. Entao,partimos da observacao de um corpus composto por fotografias que retratam militantes com cartazes e inscricoes corporais em edicoes brasileiras da marcha, entre 2011 e 2018, nas maisde 70 cidades onde a manifestacao aconteceu, fotografias estas postadas nas paginas dos coletivos da Marcha no Facebook. Isso evidencia que nosso interesse e tanto pela dimensao online do movimento, quanto pelo momento de ocupacao do espaco publico. Por meio da observacao do corpus, reconhecemos as causas pelas quais a Marcha das Vadias luta e selecionamos as mais recorrentes as quais nos dedicamos neste trabalho. Sao elas: nao culpabilizacao das vitimas de estupro, liberdade de ir e vir, liberdade sexual, liberdade estetica, liberdade reprodutiva e empoderamento feminino. A partir da analise destas, foi possivel perceber que os sentidos que surgem diante de cada um dos auditorios estao ligados a funcoes retoricas importantes para o movimento, relacionadas a construcao de uma identidade coletiva, busca por visibilidade, resistencia ao discurso dominante e empoderamento das mulheres. |
| Abstract: | This research aims to analyze the discourse of feminist activism of the Slut Walk movement, regarding the argumentation, as a result of effects of meaning and their possible effects, especially in the symbolic space. In other words, our objective is to analyze how the Slut Walk seeks to dispute meanings with the patriarchal discourse in relation to representations, knowledge and beliefs naturalized by it, which are symbolic violence against women in practice. Thus, we are interested in observing the effects of meaning that appear before the audience and how these effects can act in the alteration of this dominant doxa. To this end, we combine the new works of rhetoric, which consider dissent and / or polemic from Meyer, Angenot, and Amossy, with the contributions of Pecheux, and with the contemporary studies of Perelman and Olbrechts-Tyteca's rhetoric of consensus. In addition, we rely on Bourdieu's reflections on symbolic violence and male domination. Then, we start with the observation of a corpus composed of photographs, which are posted on the pages of the collective of Slut Walk on Facebook, that portray militants with posters and body inscriptions in Brazilian editions of the Slut Walk, between 2011 and 2018, in more than 70 cities where the movement took place. This shows that our interest is as much in the online dimension of the movement as in the moment of occupation of the public space. Through the observation of the corpus, we recognize the causes for which the Slut Walk struggles and select the most recurrent ones to which we will dedicate our attention in this work. They are: standing against victim-blaming in cases of rape, freedom of movement, sexual freedom, aesthetic freedom, reproductive freedom and female empowerment. From the analysis of these, it was possible to perceive that the senses that appear before each of the audience are linked to rhetorical functions that are important to the movement, related to the construction of a collective identity, search for visibility, resistance tothe dominant discourse and women empowerment. |
