Abstract: | O caso clínico descrito aborda o planejamento integral e as etapas de uma reabilitação estético-funcional de um paciente adulto, gênero feminino, diagnosticado com amelogênese imperfeita. Foram encontradas as seguintes alterações dentárias: restaurações em dentes anteriores insatisfatórias, dentes posteriores desprovidos de restaurações, além de mordida aberta anterior, espaço interoclusal insuficiente para reabilitação oclusal e hipersensibilidade dentinária. O tratamento envolveu inicialmente o aumento da dimensão vertical de oclusão, com base no enceramento diagnóstico para confecção de coroas provisórias, além de retratamento endodôntico de dentes comprometidos. Em uma segunda fase foram realizadas ciriurgias de aumento de coroa clínica nos quatro hemiarcos posteriores. Após a conclusão da fase cirúrgica, foram realizados os repreparos cavitários e confecção de coroas totais metalocerâmicas nos dentes posteriores e em porcelana pura nos dentes anteriores. O objetivo do tratamento foi restabelecer a função mastigatória, eliminar a sensibilidade e melhorar a estética do sorriso da paciente, através de um planejamento integral e um tratamento multidisciplinar. O tratamento não somente restaurou a função e a estética, mas também apresentou um impacto psicológico positivo e, consequentemente, melhorou a qualidade de vida da paciente. |
Abstract: | The clinical case described runs upon the integrated planning and the stages of a functional-esthetic rehabilitation of an adult patient, female, with the diagnostic of imperfect amelogenesis. The degenerations founded were: unsatisfactory anterior teeth restorations, posterior teeth without restorations, besides anterior open bite, insufficient interocclusal space for occlusal rehabilitation and dentin hypersensitivity. In the beginning the treatment involved the increase of the vertical dimension of the occlusion, based on the diagnostic wax for the confection of a temporary crown, besides the endodontic retreatment of the committed teeth. In a second moment, surgeries for lengthening of clinical crowns were made in the four posterior hemi arches. After conclusion of the surgical stage, new cavity preparations were made and lithiumdisilicate crowns confection. The treatment objective was re-establishing the bite function, eliminate the sensibility and increase the smile esthetic of the patient, through an integrated planning and a multidisciplinary treatment. The treatment not even restored the function and esthetic, as presented a positive psychological impact and, as consequence, improved the life quality from the patient. |
