| Abstract: | Este trabalho foi realizado com os seguintes objetivos: a) estudar e caracterizar os parâmetros reprodutivos até a primeira concepção, incluindo-se idade e peso à puberdade, comportamento de estro, dinâmica folicular, resposta a protocolos hormonais e fertilidade em novilhas F1 HG. A dinâmica folicular ovariana foi estudada durante o ciclo estral natural, após indução de estro com prostaglandina F2, e após protocolo com progesterona e estrógeno. A idade e peso a puberdade foram de 340,2 ± 27,6 dias e 342 ± 25,0 kg, respectivamente. Os percentuais de detecção de estro foram de 94%, 84% e 100% para estro natural, induzido com prostaglandina F2 e após protocolo com progesterona e estrógeno, respectivamente. O padrão de ondas foliculares durante o ciclo estral natural predominou com animais apresentando três (60,6%), com relação a animais com duas (39,4%), respectivamente. O intervalo de ovulações e o diâmetro do folículo ovulatório foram de 18,8 ± 1,0 e 21,8 ± 1,8 dias e de 15, 7 ± 1,4 e 14,7 ± 1,1 milímetros para novilhas F1 HG com duas e três ondas, respectivamente. Os intervalos dos estros às ovulações foram de 25,4 ± 4,1 e 25,3 ± 6,2 horas para estros naturais ou induzido com PGF2, respectivamente. A taxa de gestação à primeira inseminação artificial foi de 80% e não correram perdas embrionárias; b) relacionar a eficiência nutricional com idade e peso à puberdade e alguns parâmetros reprodutivos em novilhas F1 HG. Foram estudadas em 35 novilhas F1 HG que foram ranqueadas para eficiência alimentar utilizando como parâmetro o consumo alimentar residual (CAR). As novilhas apresentaram idade à puberdade, em média, aos 339,7; 346,4; 315,3 dias, para alta eficiência, eficiência intermediária e baixa eficiência, respectivamente, apresentando diferença estatística (P<0,0001). O peso à puberdade para novilhas com alta eficiência, eficiência intermediaria e baixa eficiência foi, em média, de 321 ± 28,1kg não apresentando diferença entre os grupos de CAR. Diâmetro (mm) e taxa de crescimento (mm/dia) folicular não apresentaram diferença entre os grupos de CAR. Não foi observada nenhuma correlação entre os parâmetros reprodutivos de diâmetro folicular (mm), taxa de crescimento do folículo (mm/dia), número de ondas foliculares no ciclo estral natural e taxa de gestação na 1ª IA (%) com o grupo de CAR. |
| Abstract: | This paper was carried out with the following objectives: a) to study and characterize the reproductive parameters until the first conception including the age and weight at puberty, estrus comportment, follicular dynamics, response to hormone protocols and fertility. The ovarian follicular dynamic was studied during the natural estrous cycle, after induction of estrum with prostaglandin F2, and after the protocol with progesterone and estrogen. The age and weight at puberty were 340,2 ± 27,6 days and 342 ± 25,0 kg respectively. The percentiles of estrum detection were of 94%, 84% and 100% for natural estrum, induced with prostaglandin F2, and after the protocol with progesterone and estrogen, respectively. The pattern of follicular waves during the estrum cycles prevailed in animals presenting three (60,6%), in relation to animals with two (39.4%), respectively. The interval of ovulations and the diameter of the ovulatory follicle were of 18,8 ± 1,0 and 21,8 ± 1,8 days and of 15, 7 ± 1,4 and 14,7 ± 1,1 millimeters for heifers F1HG with two and three waves, respectively. The gestation rate of the first artificial insemination was of 80% and there was no embryonic loss; b) to relate the nutritional efficiency with the age at puberty, weight at puberty and some reproductive parameters in F1 HG heifers. 35 heifers F1 HG were used, for each test, a food efficiency ranking was done, using as the parameter the residual feed intake (CAR). The heifers presented age at puberty averaging the 339,7; 346,4; 315.3 days, for heifers with high efficiency, intermediate efficiency and low efficiency, respectively, showing significant difference of puberty age between heifers (P<0,0001). The weight at puberty for heifers with high efficiency, intermediate efficiency and low efficiency was, in average, 321 ± 28.1kg, not showing difference between the CAR groups. No correlation was observed between the reproductive parameters of follicle diameter (mm), the follicle growth rate (mm/day), number of follicular waves in the natural estrous cycle and the gestation rate 1ª IA with the CAR groups. |
