Estudo de caso: análise da reforma do complexo escolar AIACOM / RJ armazém de ideias e ações comunitárias - sob a ótica da sustentabilidade

Abstract

This work aims to detect the existing barriers to the achievement of sustainable reform, taking into consideration a case study: the Reform of the AIACOM complex, situated on the Engenho Novo neighborhood in the northern zone of Rio de Janeiro. Characterization of one of the three buildings that constitute the complex, Building 2, as well as its location, climate characterization and description of the pathologies found in the building will be held. Description of the uses distributed throughout the buildings that house a Social Project, a School that teaches first and second degrees (middle to high school) and the quarters of theAugustinian Priests will be done. Thereafter, the proposals made so far to the Priests and the difficulties to deploy them, from the perspective of recent Brazilian Standard 16.280 (Building Reforms - Reform Management System - Requirements), the Brazilian Standard 9050(accessibility to buildings, furniture, equipment and urban spaces.), the rising costs involved in the reform, the optimization of resources and sustainability will be analyzed. As a result, five obstacles were observed throughout the Reforms Analysis, summarized in the conclusion of this work.
