Projeto de intervenção para aumentar os indicadores de adesão terapêutica dos hipertensos no território da Unidade de Saúde do Acari, Pintópolis - MG

Abstract

The Hypertension is related to a large number of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. It is responsible for many expenses and hospitalization due to lack of control and lack of adequate treatment. Despite medication and non-medication treatment get control of this disease, treatment adherence is low. This work presents an intervention project aimed at increasing adherence to medication and nonmedicationtreatment of hypertensive population ascribed to the territory of the HealthUnit of the Acari, rural area of Pintopolis - MG. Review of current literature related to the topic of poor adherence were performed and, in parallel, built an intervention project, using as the methodological basis Situational Strategic Planning involving the health family professionals of the Acari. The project intervention included strategies to increase knowledge about the disease, to stimulate change in dietary habits andphysical activities, as well as actions to reorganize the work process of health professionals and restructuring the references systems and multidisciplinary treatment. It is expected that health professionals become better able to care and that the ascribed hypertensive patients change behavior by increasing the degree of adherence to medication and non-medication treatment, aiming to reduce future cardiovascular complications.
