Organizando a demanda da Equipe de Saúde Bucal de uma Unidade Saúde da Família de Conselheiro Lafaiete, MG

Abstract

The insertion of the Oral Health Team in the Family Health Strategy represented an opportunity of oral health is a right for all. However, one of the difficulties faced in this action has been organizing the high demand for dental services. The aim of this study was to develop an action plan to organize dental care in a unit of the Family Health Strategy of Conselheiro Lafaiete / MG. For theoretical reasons a narrative review on the working process of the Oral Health Team to better organize the demand for dental services was taken. The articles were searched for the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) , the virtual library of Agora - Nescon - UFMG Program, publications from the Ministry of Health (MOH ) and State Department of Health of Minas Gerais (SES / MG) and, also, in data from the Primary Care Information System (SIAB) avaliable in the city of Conselheiro Lafaiete . The period of search for articles was from February to December 2013, with articles in the portugues language published from 1990 to 2013 using the following keywords: Family Health; access to oral health services, oral health history of the SUS Health System. After the review was elaborated, in accordance with the module of Planning and Evaluation of Health Actions in the Specialization Course in Primary Care in the Family Health (CEABSF) was prepared . The proposed action plan includes operations that can make coping prioritized the issue, as it has strategic actions presenting project to enable another team of oral health in the city, the development of the work of the Oral Health Team based on diagnosis and knowledge of the assisted community and (community and assisted the) implementation guideline of oral health . All this as a result seeking increased access to dental care in an organized and equitable manner, skilled teams and more conscious community.
