Alerta para a tuberculose no município de Joaquim Felício - Minas Gerais

Abstract

This paper addresses the issue related to the disease tuberculosis , which is faced with a large increase in new cases, some followed by death. Tuberculosis should have been eradicated in the twentieth century, however, the disease tends to spread increasingly causing fear and concern for people. Therefore, it is necessary we look back this disease that already has an alarming rate of increase mainly scaring the population of the municipality of Joaquim Felicio / MG. It is believed that the resistance of bacteria is due to the inappropriate use of medication, poor economic status, among other risk factors. The aim of this study was to know, through national published literature, which has been published regarding pulmonary tuberculosis aimed at training of all health professionals and obtain effective results in the care of the patient. Became, therefore, a literature review on the SciELO database as well as documents of the Ministry of Health with the descriptors: TB and Primary Health Care Thus, efforts should be undertaken to find the patient and offer early treatment adequate interrupting the chain of transmission. If regimens have major role in treating not forget that the impact on the epidemiology of the disease will only be reached after agile, easy and inexpensive diagnostic techniques, streamlining services and increasing membership.
