| Abstract: | O presente estudo aborda o tema Medicamentos Tópicos Comumente Usados no Tratamento de Feridas, que teve como objetivo realizar revisão de literatura acerca de técnicas comumente empregadas no tratamento tópico de feridas na rede básica de saúde. Foi realizada revisão bibliográfica de artigos indexados nas bases de dados LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences), PUBMED, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) e BDENF (Bases de Dados de Enfermagem) no período de 2006 a 2011. O estudo aponta a necessidade de fazer uso de todo conhecimento científico sobre a variedade de medicamentos tópicos existentes no mercado e seus benefícios para promoção de perfeita cicatrização de feridas. O trabalho aborda as características e indicação de uso dos produtos mais usados na prática clínica e a visão de diversos autores sobre estes. O trabalho confirma a necessidade de otimização do conhecimento acerca de todas as possibilidades de tratamento de feridas, de revisão do todo conteúdo teórico na prática de assistência para a melhora do cuidado a pacientes portadores de feridas. |
| Abstract: | The present study addresses the issue related to Topical Drugs Commonly Used in the Treatment of Wounds, which aimed review techniques commonly employed in the topical treatment of wounds in the primary care network. We performed a literature review of articles indexed in LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences), PUBMED, Virtual Health Library (VHL), SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) and BDENF (Database of Nursing) the period 2006 to 2011. The study highlights the need to make use of all scientific knowledge about the variety of topical medications available on the market and its benefits for promoting perfect wound healing. The paper discusses the characteristics and indications for use of the products commonly used in clinical practice and the vision of these different authors. The study confirms the need of knowledge about all the possibilities for treating wounds and review the theoretical content in all practical assistance to improve the care of patients with wounds. |
