Resumo
O presente trabalho teve como objetivo refletir como o texto, em seus diferentes gêneros, pode se tornar um recurso para auxiliar o professor nas práticas de ensino da leitura e escrita no processo de alfabetização e letramento. Compreende-se que, tanto a leitura quanto a escrita surgiram da necessidade de comunicação e registro do ser humano, ou seja, é uma construção cultural. Neste
contexto, o aprender a ler e escrever faz parte da alfabetização, mas só isso não basta, é necessário saber lidar e compreender diferentes textos e contextos sociais o que envolve o letramento. Alfabetizar e letrar embora sejam distintos são indissociáveis, cabe ao professor assumir então, a função de mediador nesse processo educativo. Assim, os gêneros textuais constituem uma fonte imensurável de possibilidades de ensino e aprendizado, apresentando-se como um instrumento educacional significativo, presente na sociedade e ligado à interação social.
Abstract
The present work aimed to understand how the text, in its different genres, can become a resource to assist the teacher in the teaching practices of reading and writing in the process of initial reading instruction and literacy. It is understood that both reading and writing arose from the need for communication and registration of the human being, that is, it is a cultural construction. In this context, learning to read and write is part of initial reading instruction, but that is not enough, it is necessary to know how to deal with and understand different texts and social contexts, which involves literacy. Initial reading instruction and literacy although they are distinct are
inseparable, it is up to the teacher to assume, then, the role of mediator in this educational process. Thus, textual genres are an immeasurable source of teaching and learning possibilities, presenting as a significant educational tool, present in society and linked to social interaction.
